WHAT: Epilepsy support group meeting

WHEN: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17

WHERE: EBR Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library, 9200 Bluebonnet Blvd., Baton Rouge

DETAILS: The group is open to adults with epilepsy and seizure disorders, their family members, friends, caregivers and anyone who would like to share their experiences and support those who are managing seizures. Parents of children with epilepsy are also encouraged to attend. Adult topics can come up at meetings that may be inappropriate for young children. Parental discretion is advised.

Grief support group

WHAT: The Hospice of Baton Rouge sponsors six-week HOPE Grief Support Group sessions

WHEN: 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 23 through March 6
