Baton Rouge Green will celebrate Arbor Day at its annual Arbor Day Luncheon at noon Friday, Jan. 15, at the Lod Cook Alumni Center, 3838 W. Lakeshore Drive.

The keynote speaker will be Greg Levine, co-executive director and chief program officer of Trees Atlanta. He will discuss the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum, a 22-mile-long linear expanse of dynamic natural space that offers a unique glimpse into the horticultural history of Atlanta, Georgia.

Mayor Kip Holden will thank the Living Roadways sponsors, the Green Team, for their contribution to the care and maintenance of more than 5,000 trees along local roadways.

Registration and seating will begin at 11:30 a.m. Advance reservations are required. Table-for-Ten Sponsorships are available for $750 and individual tickets are $60.
