Frost native Hunter Plake, the fifth finalist on last season's "The Voice," will perform at two area churches on Sunday morning.

Church was the only place the 21-year-old Lafayette resident had sung publicly before taking "The Voice" stage.

Plake and his younger brother Dakota Plake, who've formed the duo Plake, will sing three songs at the beginning of the 9 a.m. service at Celebration Church, 33135 La. 16, Denham Springs. They'll also sing at the 11 a.m. service at Celebration's Springfield-Holden campus, 26012 La. 42 in Holden.

The brothers' uncle, Carl Kelly, is pastor at Celebration, his aunt Sharon Kelly said.

"We're just thrilled he's going to bless us with his music, " their aunt also said.

Since exiting the 12th season of the NBC reality singing competition series, Plake has been busy making music, most recently releasing the single, "Hurricane Lovers."
