Baton Rouge native and actor Louis Herthum will guest-star on CBS’ “Stalker” at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

In the episode titled “Manhunt,” a bride is shot by a sniper during her wedding ceremony. Detective Jack Larsen and Lt. Beth Davis are called in to determine if the bride’s stalker has come back to haunt her. Herthum plays Jimmy Lambert, the bride’s father.

“It’s a very emotional role,” Herthum said Tuesday via Facebook message.

The psychological thriller series stars Maggie Q (Davis) and Dylan McDermott (Larsen), detectives for the Threat Assessment Unit of the LAPD. The pair go into the minds of stalkers to protect their targets from future incidents.

Herthum recently appeared in the feature film “Atlas Shrugged: Who Is John Galt?” and the TV series “Longmire” and “True Detective.”

“Stalker” can be seen on WAFB, Channel 9 (cable Channel 7 in Baton Rouge and cable Channel 18 in Lafayette) and KLFY, Channel 10 (cable Channel 11) in Lafayette.
