If you’re a fan of rock ‘n’ roll, you won’t want to miss this upcoming show.

Heartless Bastards, a rock quartet that calls Austin, Texas home, will perform Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Spanish Moon. Doors open at 8 p.m. The show starts at 9 p.m. Susto, an Americana band from South Carolina, will open.

Tickets are $12 in advance at ticketfly.com and $15 at the door.

In 2015, Heartless Bastards released its fifth album, “Restless Ones.” Produced by John Congleton, the album showed the band continuing on its path of renewed sense of urgency initially heard on the 2012 release “Arrow.”

Though critically underrated, “Restless Ones” is another effective driving rock record. It’s full of the type of stuff guys like Tom Petty would make. Erika Wennerstrom’s soulful, ache-y vocals are never half-bad, either.

Last year, the band performed at the Baton Rouge Blues Festival alongside Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires, Arrested Development, and local performers such as Clay Parker, Ryan Harris and Denton Hatcher.
