A dozen country artists will perform at a late September flood relief concert.

Red Stick Together will be held on Sunday, Sept. 25, at Repentance Park in downtown Baton Rouge. The concert will feature performances from Lonestar, Mark Chesnutt, Tracy Byrd, Jamie O'Neal, John Schneider, Wayne Toups, John Conlee, Clifton Brown, Chad Brock and Mickey Gilley.

The free event will start at 3 p.m. and will also feature appearances from James Linden Hogg and Sheriff Bud Torres.

Scott Innes and Colbi Rosenthal produced the event. In a press release, Innes said he wanted to give Baton Rougeans a day off.

"The people of south Louisiana need a break," Innes said. "[They need] a day to throw down the hammer and sheet rock and come and have a day of relief."
