The hearts of R&B lovers will be fluttering this weekend.

Tyrese Gibson and Monica Brown are coming to the Baton Rouge River Center for a Valentine’s Day performance — the fourth annual Love & Laughter concert special.

The Sunday show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $35 at ticketmaster.com. The performance includes an appearance from comedian Bigg Sexxy and is hosted by Latangela.

Gibson, a multiple Grammy award-nominee and actor, has been busy over the last year co-starring in the box office hit, “Furious 7, ” and recording the album “Black Rose.”

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Top Albums chart. According to his website, “Black Rose” will be his last solo album.

The album’s second single “Shame,” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Songs chart, and is nominated for Best Traditional R&B Performance and Best R&B Song at Monday’s Grammy Awards.

Brown is an Atlanta native and mother of three. She has more than 20 years of industry experience under her belt since releasing her ’90s breakout album “Miss Thang” and popular collaborative single with Brandy “The Boy is Mine.”

Brown’s latest album, “Code Red,” was released in December and features guest spots from Missy Elliott, Timbaland and Lil Wayne.
