By popular demand, House of Blues has added a second Billy Idol show to the club’s fall schedule. Idol, the British singer known for such hits of the ’80s as “Rebel Yell,” “White Wedding” and “Dancing with Myself,” will perform at the French Quarter music venue September 28 and September 29.

Tickets for the second show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, through LiveNation.com, HouseofBlues.com and Ticketmaster. More information is available at the House of Blues Box Office at (504) 310-4999.

Idol postponed his originally scheduled January 21 date at House of Blues and a January 22 show in Atlanta due to illness.

“I’m really disappointed to be missing everyone this week in the Big Easy and Atlanta,” the singer said in a statement released in January. “I was excited for these gigs but want to make sure I can give you the full on Idol rock show you deserve. Thank you for understanding while I get over this bug. We’ll be back later this year!”
