Multi platinum-selling and Grammy Award-winning rock band Maroon 5 will peform at the Smoothie King Center on Sept. 5.
New Orleans native PJ Morton is Maroon 5’s keyboard player. The son of gospel singer Bishop Paul S. Morton, Morton is also a solo artist based in Los Angeles.
New Orleans is the second stop on Maroon 5’s 26-city fall tour. Tickets for the show go on sale Nov. 14 at LiveNation.com.
Maroon 5’s latest album, “V,” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200. The album’s debut single, “Maps,” set a record for the highest debut by a group on the Top 40 radio charts in 18 years. It has earned Top 100 spots in 18 countries.
Moroon 5, the winner of three Grammy Awards, has sold more than 17 million albums worldwide. The group has achieved gold and platinum sales in more than 35 countries.
