The first of Baton Rouge’s Mardi Gras parades rolls this weekend. It all begins Friday night with the Krewe of Artemis, which is celebrating 15 years of Carnival in the Capital City. Its parade starts at 7 p.m. and rolls through streets in the downtown area.
On Saturday night, the Krewe of Orion parade will get going at 6:30 p.m. in downtown. Its parade will wrap up by rolling through the middle of the River Center Exhibition Hall, kicking off the krewe’s Masquerade Ball.
