The week is half over but the fun’s just beginning.

Tonight at The Varsity, the Sexual Trauma Awareness & Response Center holds its third annual Hunks in Heels runway show. The festivities start at 5:30 p.m. Strutting their stuff in heels will be Councilman John Delgado; Rigsby Fredrick, of Rigsby Frederick Salon Gallery; Kyle Harless, of Lock & Key Whiskey Bar; Chadwick Kenney, of Promise Healthcare; Al Moreau, of Moreau Physical Therapy; Dr. Andrew Smith, of Louisiana Cardiology Associates; Jim Urdialis, of Mestizo’s; Ray vanMerrienboer, of Red Zepplin Pizza; Dr. Rani Whitfield, the Hip Hop Doctor, and Y’zell Williamson, of Capital City Grill. All proceeds benefit STAR. Tickets range from $35-$60 and can be purchased online at varsitytheatre.com/tickets.

Over at the Burden Research Center’s Rose Garden, the Burden Horticulture Society hosts its annual Wine & Roses Gala starting at 6 p.m.

The fun continues Thursday with the Blue Ribbon Soirée benefiting prostate cancer research. It gets underway at 7 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel.

Sunday’s social calendar features the Epilepsy Foundation’s Seats for Siezures Gala, beginning at 6 p.m. at Price LeBlanc Lexus.
