The kids have been back in school for a week now, and the social scene is starting to heat up. To make sure you don’t miss out on any of the fun, visit theadvocate.com and do a search for Pam's Party Calendar.

I try to make it the most comprehensive social calendar in the city, with events all the way into fall of 2018. Coming up in the next few days are the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society's Fête Rouge, a two-day wine and food celebration that takes place at the L'Auberge Event Center, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Capital City Beer Fest at the Crowne Plaza. On Saturday, it’s the Louisiana Pediatric Cardiology Foundation's "Helping Little Hearts Heal" event at the Renaissance.

Hope to see at one or more of these fun events!
