Politicians beware! Members of the Capitol Correspondents Association are currently writing the scripts for this year’s Gridiron.

The scribes include The Advocate’s Marsha Shuler, Edwin Edwards biographer Leo Honeycutt and Gannett News’ Mike Hasten, and my sources tell me their pens and wits are extra sharp this year as they get ready to roast the pols that call the Capitol home.

There are two chances to catch the madness that is Gridiron. Dress rehearsal is March 27 and the big night is March 28 at the American Legion Hall on Wooddale Boulevard. For ticket information, email gridironshowbr@yahoo.com.
