Capital Area CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Association officially welcomed its 2015 board of directors and newly trained volunteers at a swearing-in ceremony Jan. 22 conducted by Juvenile Court Judge Pamela Taylor Johnson. These individuals will work to advance the best interests of abused and neglected children living in foster care in the East Baton Rouge Parish.

CASA’s executive committee members are Chairwoman Deborah Lamb, Vice Chairman Reginald Brown, Secretary Jessica James, Treasurer Katie Ruiz and board members Tanie Bush, Heather Cross, Anaiah Davis, Todd Denton, David Faulk, Jennifer Guckert, Kristen Hogan, Anna Jackson, Shirley Lewis, Jennifer Racca McDonough, Allyson Sadler, Holly Sides, Karen Sirman, Amanda Stout, Mary Thompson and Robert Woosley.

Sworn in as new volunteers are Gaynell Addison, Brady Babin, Lakin Brister, Dolores Butler, Jeffrey Cooke, M.E. Cormier, Mary Ann Harmon, Reneita Hoskins, Caleb Huval, Tonika Jackson-Smart, Debra London, Lance Lyons, Arien Major, Hana Malkawi, Haven Pourciau, Claudia de la Rosa-Fuller and Corey Wilson.
