Mardi Gras in Red Stick is rolling to a close with the last two parades taking to the streets this weekend. The Krewe of Southdowns’ family-friendly parade, “Under the Big Top,” rolls through that neighborhood at 7 p.m. Friday beginning at Glasgow Middle School.

The Krewe of Lagniappe in Louisiana kicks things up a notch or two with the Spanish Town Mardi Gras Parade at noon Saturday. These risque rulers of mayhem start on Spanish Town Road in front of the State Capitol, and the parade weave its way through downtown. You don’t want to miss either one!
