Last Friday was World AIDS Day and as part of its commemoration, HAART is holding its seventh annual HIV Awareness Poster Contest. The agency asked students from the LSU Art Department to create designs combating the stigma and HIV in the Baton Rouge area, and now they need our help in selecting the two winning designs.

Click on this link — bit.ly/HIVposters — and vote for your two favorites. The winners in each of the two categories will receive a $500 scholarship from sponsor Avita Pharmacy. We'll let you know who wins.

In addition to offering a complete continuum of care to people living with HIV/AIDS including housing, primary care, medications, case management and supportive services, HAART provides HIV prevention education and free testing in the Baton Rouge area.
