The family toured Paris, including Sacré-Coeur Basilica, la Sainte-Chapelle and La Conciergerie; Normandy landmarks Mont Saint-Michel, the D-Day landing beaches, Bayeux, and the American cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer; Monet Gardens in Giverny; and the Roman monuments and amphitheatre of Arles, among other stops.
