Gov. Bobby Jindal issued an executive order for law enforcement to protect against protests disturbing the peace at funerals for victims in the Lafayette theater shooting Saturday morning.

Jindal's executive order was issued after the controversial Westboro Baptist Church announced plans to protest funerals of the two women killed in Thursday's shooting at The Grand 16 Theatre in Lafayette.

The gunman in the tragic shooting, John Russell Houser, previously tweeted his support for the church. The church is widely known for its anti-gay stance and protesting military funerals.
