Annual Customer Appreciation and Health Awareness Day: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Salvation Army of Greater Baton Rouge, 7361 Airline Highway. A variety of local organizations will share information about health, wellness, safety and emergency preparedness. Baton Rouge Parents will hold the fair and expo for families who want to talk with representatives from day camps and overnight camps. Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., USS Kidd Veterans Memorial & Museum, 305 S. River Road. The event will recognize Vietnam Veterans and ceremonies include exhibits, speakers, live music by Big River Express and more. Visitors are encouraged to bring lunches and lawn chairs.
