While Andrew Mahtook and Hannah Knight were elected LSU's next president and vice president, it was the third-place finisher in Tuscaloosa who garnered attention.

Saban finished third in SG voting on Alabama's campus thanks to the write-in voting rule. The ex-LSU coach received six write-in votes. The actual winner of Alabama's SG race was Elliott Spillers, who received 8,602 votes.

LSU, meanwhile, doesn't allow students to write in votes. If it did, coach Les Miles could do better than six write-in votes, right?
