Bayou Country Superfest is expanding to three days for 2016, organizers announced Thursday.

The music festival, held for the past six years on Memorial Day weekend in LSU’s Tiger Stadium, draws some of the top names in country music and attracts thousands fans from across the nation to Baton Rouge.

Organizers plan a Nov. 10 announcement of performers expected for next year’s festival, which will run Friday through Sunday, May 27-29.

The two-day 2015 event featured headliners Kenny Chesney and Black Shelton and was preceded by country-gone-pop superstar Taylor Swift’s Friday night concert in Tiger Stadium.
