A Bogalusa man accused of shooting and killing a man on Gwen Drive Sept. 15 was arrested Tuesday night, according to a Baton Rouge Police Department news release.
Anthony Dewayne Peters, 24, 1030 E. 7th St., was arrested by the Bogalusa Police Department and transported to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, the release says.
Peters was booked with second-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon, theft of a firearm, theft of a motor vehicle, and with being a fugitive, the release says.
Peters is accused of the shooting and killing of 41-year-old Gregory Wayne King, 1652 Gwen Drive, the release says.
Baton Rouge police were dispatched to King?s home after his family called police and said they had not heard from King in two days, the release says.
Police found King inside his home dead from a gunshot wound to the head, the release says.
