Before LSU coach Les Miles led the Tigers to a commanding 45-21 win over Auburn Saturday, he took some time away from the hype and cameras to make a dream come true for a young fan battling cancer.

LSU Board of Supervisors member Scott Ballard posted on Facebook Saturday night thanking Miles for taking the time to meet with a young LSU fan from Birmingham who has terminal cancer.

"Les Miles did this with no fan fare and it came from his heart," Ballard wrote on Facebook. "Thank you coach. This is what we stand for and I thank LSU Athletics."
