Because of the threat of inclement weather, Swamp Thing will perform inside the Arts Council building, 427 Laurel Street, on the first floor Sunday, April 12, according to a press release.

The Arts Council's Sunday in the Park free concert series begins this Sunday as part of the Baton Rouge Blues Festival weekend.

Sunday in the Park will feature New Zealand blues duo, Swamp Thing from 2pm to 5pm at the Arts Council's building at 427 Laurel Street. Swamp Thing is a "Two Man Blues Roots Juggernaut from New Zealand" consisting of Michael Barker on drums and Grant Haua on guitar.

Swamp Thing, straight from New Zealand, is fulfilling a three-week Arts Council visiting artists residency in Baton Rouge and south Louisiana.
