Advocate staff photo by JOHN McCUSKER -- The Freedom Pavilion, the latest expansion of the World War II Museum in New Orleans is set to open. A preview was held Thursday, January 10, 2013. The exhibit features numerous war planes including B-17 and B-25 bombers, Corsair and P-51 Mustang fighter planes as well as torpedo and dive bombers. There is also an exhibit highlighting the submarine war as well as interactive installations and multimedia programs. Nick Mueller and Boysie Bollinger take in the pavilion from the ground floor.
