Summer may be winding down, but the Jones Creek Regional Library, 6222 Jones Creek Road, still has a few events in store.

Library hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Saturday and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Memory boxes

Need a place store your stuff? Teens can come to the library from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to paint and decorate a wooden box to store all of their keepsakes.

Bookmark make and take

Children ages 4 to 11 can make fun back-to-school bookmarks in the Children’s Room from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday. Fingerprints will become frogs, birds or fish accompanied by back-to-school sayings.

No registration is required.

Game night

Tabletop gamers ages 18 to 30-ish are welcome to play “Small World,” “Settlers of Catan,” “Dominion” and other games during 20-Somethings Game Night from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Light refreshments will be served.

Author meet-and-greet

Baton Rouge author Irish Cooper shares her recent book, “Fabricated Looks: My Memoir,” in a meet-and-greet for adults from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Attendees who already have purchased a book may bring it to be autographed.
