A filmmaker working on a documentary about his travels across America is stopping in Baton Rouge on Thursday to film part of the documentary and to perform an original song inspired by the adventure.
The film shoot will take place at 3 p.m. Thursday in front of the USS Kidd Veterans Memorial & Museum, according to a news release from filmmaker Daniel J. Frost.
The public is invited to participate in the filming by attending Thursday’s shoot.
Frost sold all of his possessions in 2012 after being laid off from his job and began traveling the country to perform his song “American Dream,” and to film the performances, according to the documentary’s website, http://rockblessamerica.com.
The documentary is titled “Operation: American Dream.”
Frost’s website says he has filmed in 11 states so far and wants to film in all 50 states.
