A 46-year-old Baton Rouge man who allegedly told a confidential informant he wanted to kidnap a 5- to 6-year-old girl and make her his sex slave was among four men indicted Wednesday on federal child porn charges.
In addition to Pierre A. Moosebroker Jr., a Baton Rouge federal grand jury indicted Everett Eugene Carter, 56, of Gonzales, and Brandon L. Hunt, 26, and Brian Lee Schaller, 42, both of Denham Springs, according to U.S. Attorney Walt Green.
Moosebroker, who was arrested earlier this month, is charged with possession of child pornography and forfeiture.
Carter is charged with transportation of child pornography, possession of child pornography and forfeiture. Hunt and Schaller both are charged with distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography and forfeiture.
A search of Moosebroker’s Sarah Avenue home revealed child porn images on his computer, including children under 13 performing sexual acts, according to an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office report.
A federal criminal complaint alleges Moosebroker, who has a prior manslaughter conviction, told a confidential informant that he intended to kidnap a young female child and secure her in a room or structure that she could not leave, and make her his sex slave.
Carter, 12093 Roddy Road, Apt. 2, was arrested in December on 31 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles following a joint investigation of the state Attorney General’s Office, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security Investigations and the FBI.
Hunt, 13825 Valley Creek Road, was arrested earlier this month on 50 counts of possessing and six counts of distributing pornography involving juveniles after a joint probe by the Attorney General’s Office, Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations.
Schaller was arrested in December on 500 counts of child pornography possession after local, state and federal agencies searched his Linder Road home and found hundreds of images on a computer.
