Four softball players with the Louisiana Blazers Elite recently signed with LSU Eunice in the presence of their high school head coaches and Andy Lee, of LSUE.

Kelsey Cifreo, of Walker High School, lettered four years in softball; was 2014 and 2015 Academic All-American; 2015 2nd Team All-District and All-Parish; and 2015 Baton Rouge Player of the Week.

Ally Howard, of Live Oak High School, lettered four years in softball; was a 2013 Honorable Mention and All-District 5A Outfield; 2014 1st Team All-District 5A, All-Parish and All-Metro Outfield; 2015 Honorable Mention All-District 5A Infield and 2nd Team All-Parish Infield; and was the recipient of the Eagle Heart Award.

Alexa Lonibos, of St. Joseph’s Academy, lettered three years in softball; received the 2013 SJA Newcomer Award; 2015 2nd Team All-District Catcher, 2015 NOLA.com Player of the Week; and was 2016 team captain.

Lakyn Wales, of Zachary High School, lettered four years in softball; was the 2014 Honorable Mention; 2015 1st Team All-District Catcher; and 2015 2nd Team All-Metro Utility.

Blazers Elite coaches are Todd Whittington, Van Harriman and Brady Jordan.
