Gov. Bobby Jindal rallied Republicans and touted his political record during a speech in Murfreesboro, Tennessee Friday night, according to the Daily News Journal.
The Daily News Journal reports Jindal called on the crowd of Rutherford County Republicans to help secure a Republican president in 2016.
After the speech, Jindal said he would announce his plans for a 2016 presidential run after the Louisiana Legislature ends its session in June.
He also commented on the Indiana religious freedom bill during the speech, saying a similar bill would easily glide through the Louisiana state legislature for him to sign.
