Rispone Family Foundation for their support as sponsor during a gala at St. Michael High School.

St. Michael High School’s annual “Black and Red Carpet Affair” Auction and Gala was held Feb. 28 at the Lake House Reception Center.

St. Michael faculty, parents, alumni and members of the community were in attendance. Guests walked the red carpet to a welcome committee of St. Michael Student Council members, and guests registered their mobile devices for the mobile silent auction.

After the auction, guests danced to the music of Rewind featuring 2004 alumna Mary Thomas on vocals and the saxophone.

All proceeds from the gala benefit the academic, arts and athletics programs at St. Michael High School, Advancement Director Josh Galasso said.

“This event could not have happened without the tireless work of our event committee members Jana DeBenedetto; Ryan Guerin, ’99; Holly Wilson; Dionne Harter; Kim Morris; and Cheryl Johnston,” he said. “Thanks to their hard work and dedication, this event was a huge success.”

St. Michael the Archangel Diocesan Regional High School was established in 1984 by the Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge.
