Area students can apply for scholarships offered by Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers.
The company’s College Scholarship Program is open to graduating high school seniors in Louisiana who are attending an institution of higher education within one year of graduation.
Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers created this scholarship program to enhance the educational opportunities available to students in schools within the community, a news release said
The law firm plans to provide eight $1,000 scholarships and one $2,000 scholarship to eligible graduating students this year.
“We started this program several years ago and it grows and grows each year,” said Chad Dudley, a partner at the firm. “Every year we have some amazing applicants who inspire us with their stories of overcoming adversity to pursue their dreams. We are proud to support these students in their efforts.”
Students can apply for the scholarship by submitting an application and either an essay or a public service announcement in video form.
The deadline to apply for the Dudley DeBosier Scholarship Program is March 11.
