The Capital Area CASA Association is offering orientation sessions at 10 a.m. May 23, and at noon, May 26 for anyone interested in volunteering with the program.

Court-appointed special advocates help children in the foster care system.

Prior to a June 9 training session, the agency is holding the 45-minute orientation sessions for volunteers to learn more about the program.

A Memorial Day service is planned for 10 a.m. Monday at the USS Kidd and Veterans Memorial.
