Visitation for Lance Cpl. Taylor Conrad, a Marine from Central who was killed recently in a helicopter crash, begins at 5 p.m. Monday at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church in Greenwell Springs.

Visitation will be preceded by a procession at 3 p.m. Monday from Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs to the church. The Central Police Department will escort Conrad's body, the department said late Sunday in a Facebook post.

Visitation ends at 9 p.m. Monday and resumes Tuesday at 9 a.m. until Conrad’s funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

The procession to the Louisiana National Cemetery near Zachary will depart approximately 11:45 a.m., traveling from the church to Magnolia Bridge Road and past Central High School on Wax Road, where Conrad graduated in 2012 and where he competed in football, baseball, wrestling and powerlifting.

The procession will continue to Sullivan Road, across Hooper Road north in front of schools to Joor Road on to Highway 64 through Zachary to Conrad’s final resting place.
