LA Homebrew will host an American Homebrewers Association Learn to Homebrew Day event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at 7897 Pecue Lane, Suite 7-G. It is free and open to the public.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own pot and propane burner to brew on-site or just come to enjoy the tailgate games, beer tastings, food and other activities.

“The craft beer scene is taking off in Louisiana, and homebrewing has become a great next step in people’s enjoyment of beer,” said Keith Primeaux, owner of LA Homebrew. “This event is designed for you to be able to walk away fully prepared to brew your first batch.”
