Dance Marathon at LSU, one of more than 400 Miracle Network Dance Marathon programs throughout the U.S. and Canada that support the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, raised $27,295.26 in 24 hours on Jan. 28 for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.

The money raised will go toward Dance Marathon at LSU’s yearly fundraising total and will be presented to the hospital on March 5 at the end of its third annual 26.2-hour Dance Marathon, set for March 4-5 at the John M. Parker Coliseum.

“We are extremely grateful to and impressed by these student leaders for their amazing year-round support of our kids at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital,” said Danny Fields, director of Children’s Miracle Network fundraising at Our Lady of the Lake Foundation.

Dance Marathon at LSU has raised $288,000 for the children’s hospital since 2013.
