Shelly Moore will compete on the CBS reality show “Big Brother” starting Thursday.

Moore, 41, is from Centerville, Ohio, but is now living in Prairieville. She is an outdoors industry executive.

Moore is among eight already-announced contestants who will join returning duos from past seasons. The duos will be revealed on Thursday’s season premiere.

“Big Brother” follows a group of people living together in a house with more than 52 cameras and 95 microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, the houseguests will vote someone out of the house. In the finale, the last remaining houseguest will receive the grand prize of $500,000.

“Big Brother” airs at 8 p.m. Thursday on WAFB Channel 9 (cable Channel 7). Following the premiere, the show will air three nights weekly, beginning at 7 p.m. Sundays and Wednesdays, and the live eviction show, hosted by Julie Chen, at 8 p.m. Thursdays.
