Though Southern University lost 34-23 to Grambling State University in this year’s Bayou Classic, the Human Jukebox never let the Jaguar spirit fade during the game.
Especially at halftime, where Southern’s and Grambling’s bands traditionally battle it out in epic shows on the field.
Mobile/tablet users, see the video here.
The Human Jukebox’s videographer, Garrett Edgerson, captured every moment of Southern’s halftime show, from Drum Major Keith Morgan’s final moments in leading the band in a regular season game during his senior year to the band’s medley of dances at the end of its show.
Edgerson also brings viewers down on the field to march with the trombone section, and documents the Dancing Dolls as they turn in another perfect performance.
The show is fun, filled with energy and is a great way to end a football season.
The Human Jukebox also played a rendition of Adele’s hit song “Hello” in the Battle of the Bands. Might it have been a foreshadowing of the heartbreaking loss to come?
