The Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council and WBRZ-TV are sponsoring a free, weeklong electronics recycling drive through Friday at 1400 Main St.

The drop-off will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, a news release says.

All functional equipment will be refurbished and sold to the public, discounted for low-income families, or given to schools and community centers, the release says. All other materials will be recycled.

Items such as computer hardware and accessories will be accepted at the drive, the release says, but appliances, copiers, televisions and furniture will not be accepted.
