Fire investigators suspect arson was the cause of a fire that heavily damaged a home on Huron Street in Baton Rouge early Friday, according with Mark Miles with the Baton Rouge Fire Department.

Firefighters called to 2507 Huron Street around 2:30 a.m. found flames coming from the front of the house and roor. The fire was under control by 3:20 a.m.

Damage from was estimated $20,000, including $5,000 in contents, Miles said in a news release. He said a renter had just moved out of the house and some of the furniture still remained.
