Some DirecTV and Dish Network viewers are reporting that they have been unable to watch the New Orleans Saints football game on Sunday and Major League Baseball’s World Series for the second night in a row.

The problems appeared to be with two stations, WGMB-Fox 44 and WVLA-33, in Baton Rouge.

Officials could not be reached for comment Sunday evening, but WVLA advised customers to go to NBC’s website to view programming.

“Our engineers are continuing to work on restoring our channel to those affected by this outage,” the station says.

A post on WVLA-33’s Facebook page early Sunday afternoon indicated that the station’s engineers were working on restoring service and indicated that storms over the weekend may be behind the issues.

“We’re very sorry for the broadcast disruption this weekend,” the station wrote in the Facebook post. “We are aware of the situation and are working as fast as possible to get FOX44 and NBC33 back up. We believe the bad weather is to blame. Again, we’re sorry for the issue and we have a team of engineers working to fix it.”
