Tuesday’s funeral services for singer Percy Sledge, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and longtime Baton Rouge resident whose recording, “When a Man Loves a Woman,” was an international hit in 1966, will be streamed on the internet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at www.percysledge.org. Sledge died Tuesday, April 14, in Baton Rouge at the age of 74.

Visitation is Tuesday, April 21, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Bethany World Prayer Center, 13855 Plank Rd., in Baker. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m.

National and international news outlets — including the BBC, The New York Times and Los Angeles Times, NPR and CBS' "Sunday Morning" — reported Sledge’s death last week.
