The Runnels boys and girls soccer teams earned titles Jan. 30.

The Lady Raiders clinched their fifth straight district championship with a 1-0 win against Catholic High of Pointe Coupee.

The Raiders ended their season with a District 4, Division IV title against Riverside Academy.

Ally Garrity was named All-District Offensive Most Valuable Player, while Lainee Alfonso was selected Overall MVP, and head coach Angie Mitchell earned Coach of the Year for the second year in a row.

Selected First Team All-District were Lainee Alfonso, Claire Alfonso, Ally Garrity, Kaylen Howe, and goalkeeper Avery Hamachek. Named Second Team All-District were Anna Claire Courville, Hannah Barback, Bailey Hyatt and Jessica DeSimone.

Runnels boys varsity soccer players selected First Team All-District were Grant Fink, Wesley Harris, Nathan Fairley, Adam Howe and Max Sager. Named to the Second Team All-District were Nick Saunders, Kade Dukaric, Gabriel Bettencourtt and Reed Stewart.
