Olympians entertained guests with a timely tableau featuring a story about “Rollin’ on the River” at the organization’s annual Carnival ball Friday evening in the tented royal quarters on the grounds of the New Orleans Country Club.

Reigning as queen of the ball was Miss Claire Michelle Zeringue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne George Zeringue Jr.

Maids in the court were Misses Caroline Elizabeth Bossier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven M. Bossier; Greer Elizabeth McKendrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Stuart McKendrick III; Sarah Barclay Nelson, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Norman Crooks Nelson Jr.; and Caroline Suzette Robin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Chad Robin.

Princesses to the court were Misses Katherine Therese Barket, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce A. Barket; Alyssa Odile Basilo, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Eric Basilo; Juliet Taney Boyd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Boyd; Gianna Lourdes Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Courtney Brown; Elizabeth Marie Daly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael M. Immediately following the ball, the queen and her court were entertained at a supper at the club. A sumptuous breakfast of treats and seasonal favorites was served. The Jimmy Maxwell Orchestra provided music for the masked ball. BRW, the recording artist, provided the music for the queen’s supper into the wee hours of the morning.

Mr. Arthur S. Mann III served as general chairman of the ball. Mr. James J. Crane served as vice chairman. Mr. Bret A. Clesi chaired the court committee, with Messrs. Mark A. Adams and Charles T. Walsten chairing the reception and floor committees respectively. Other members of the court committee included Messrs. Rene Dupaquier and Thomas J. Mitchell.
