“NCIS: New Orleans” stars Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan, Rob Kerkovich and C.C.H. Pounder, along with “NCIS” show creator Gary Glasberg, will ride as celebrity guests in the Krewe of Orpheus parade on Lundi Gras, parade officials announced.

This will be the first ride in a Mardi Gras parade for the stars.

“‘NCIS: New Orleans’ has been a great ambassador for the city of New Orleans, so it is only fitting that we honor the stars by making it possible for over a million of their fans to see them on the celebrity float during the Orpheus parade,” said Sonny Borey, Captain of the Krewe of Orpheus. “We are going to welcome them to our city in the biggest way possible, by showing them the power and magic of riding with a super-krewe.”

The 2015 parade, themed The Magic of An Ordinary Day, will introduce new “uplighting” on every float as well as an enhanced Leviathan, the multi-float dragon festooned with millions of lights.

The parade will roll down the traditional Uptown route to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, where the krewe hosts the Orpheuscapade gala.

Headlining Orpheuscapade will be award-winning country music singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley.

Tickets to the gala are available to the public. Call (504) 822-7211 or visit www.kreweoforpheus.com.
