CATS offering bus shuttles for St. Patrick’s Day parade Saturday _lowres

The Capital Area Transit System is offering shuttle service to the St. Patrick’s Day parade from downtown on Saturday.

For a $4 round-trip ticket, shuttle buses will pick up paradegoers at Hotel Indigo, the Hilton Hotel and beneath Interstate 110 at Florida Street and drop riders off at City Park, which is about the halfway point of the parade route.

Shuttle tickets can be purchased at the Hampton Hotel and Downtown Grocery with cash or credit. Customers also can buy tickets on the bus, but only cash will be accepted.

The downtown route, Route 3, will run from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., providing a return to your vehicle.
