Louisiana native and well-known actor Wendell Pierce has lost his house in the historic floods that ravaged Baton Rouge area, TMZ is reporting.
In a video taken at the Los Angeles airport on Monday, Pierce looks to be shaken up about the weekend's devastation and is terse with responses.
He declined to give a message to the Baton Rouge community, calling the circumstances "a private pain."
"I lost my house," Pierce said. "I'm coming from there and I'm heading back.
"I don't know what I'm going to do. I lost everything."
