BREC’s Liberty Lagoon water park in Baton Rouge is scheduled to open for the summer season Saturday.
From Saturday until May 19, the Liberty Lagoon, 111 Lobdell Blvd., will be open only on weekends, according to a news release. On Saturdays, the park will be open from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on Sundays from noon until 7 p.m., the release says.
Beginning May 22, Liberty Lagoon will be open seven days per week until Aug. 4. It will be open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on weekdays.
From Aug. 4 until Sept. 2, the park will return to weekend-only operations.
Admission to Liberty Lagoon is free for children ages 2 and under, $8 for those shorter than 48 inches and $10 for those taller than 48 inches, the release says.
