Sacred Heart of Jesus School celebrated the end of the first nine weeks of school with its annual Fall Fest on Oct. 9, featuring games, food, karaoke and other activities.

This year’s theme was “Sacred Heart on the Bayou: A Celebration of Festivals.”

In addition to eighth-graders manning the dunking booth, this year’s Fall Fest included a PitchBurst booth, in which students pitched water balloons at faculty members’ heads.

Current and former Sacred Heart parents prepared jambalaya.

Fall Fest is sponsored by the Sacred Heart of Jesus Home & School Association. Co-chairwomen were Karleen Green, Jennifer Broussard and Kelly Connolly.

Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the school.
