Two local residents were among four graduates of the LSU Army ROTC program commissioned during the LSU Fall Commissioning Ceremony on Dec. 17 in the Dalton J. Woods Auditorium of the Energy, Coast & Environment Building.

Second Lt. Shandricka Erica Jackson received a Bachelor of Science degree in child and family studies with a minor in professional leadership development. She will report to Ordnance Basic Officer Leaders Course in Fort Lee, Virginia, which develops junior ordnance corps officers in the areas of professional development and doctrine on the corps’ mission.

Second Lt. Robert Johnathan Perkins received a Bachelor of Science degree in human resource education with a minor in professional leadership development. His first assignment is with the 205th Forward Support Co., Louisiana Army National Guard in Carville.
